UPDATE: US 119 Reopens in Logan County after Accident

LOGAN COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Traffic is moving again along US 119 in Logan County.

Deputies say a truck crashed between Airport Road and Caney Branch about 5:45 a.m. Friday.

Deputies tell WSAZ.com, the driver lost control, ran onto a concrete berm and hit a guardrail.

The impact of the crash threw debris all over the north and southbound lanes.

Diesel fuel from the truck also spilled onto the roadway.

No one was hurt in the crash.

US 119 was closed in both directions for several hours, but it has reopened.

LOGAN COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Traffic is at a standstill on U.S. 119 just outside of Chapmanville following a crash Friday morning.

911 dispatchers tell us the crash happened on 119 at Old Logan Road.

There are no injuries, but both sides of the highway are shut down because of very heavy debris.

Crews have opened up the emergency lane on the southbound lane to allow some traffic to get through, but there is very heavy congestion in both directions.

Dispatchers say the road could be shut down for up to two hours.
