CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery earlier Friday at the City National Bank branch on U.S. 60 in Barboursville.
Cabell County Sheriff Deputies have charged William Spencer Farley, 25, of Huntington with armed bank robbery.
The robbery happened just after 1 p.m. Friday at the bank, located in the 5200 block of U.S. 60.
According to the criminal complaint, the suspect (Farley) entered the bank produced a firearm, pointed it at a teller and demanded cash from the teller. He then fled the bank with $3,007 in cash.
During the robbery, investigators say Farley was wearing a black hoodie, khaki shorts, white tennis shoes, a heavy black watch and black sun glasses.
Deputies say the several hours after the robbery, investigators contacted Farley and he agreed to meet them for an interview.
During that meeting, Farley was wearing the same clothing as seen in the bank surveillance video.
Investigators say Farley was seen earlier that day at another bank in Barboursville, according to the complaint.
Farley was taken to the Western Regional Jail. His bond was set at $250,000.
Cabell County Sheriff's deputies say City National Bank along Route 60 in Barboursville was robbed just after 1 p.m. Friday.
They say a man walked into the bank, pulled out a gun and demanded cash.
No one was hurt.
The suspect was last seen walking the in the 5600 block of Route 60, toward West Pea Ridge in Huntington.
A K-9 unit is searching the area for the suspect at this time.
