UPDATE 2/8/13 @ 10:30 a.m.
PRATT, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The driver whose car was hit by a train in Pratt says she didn't see any lights before she felt the impact.

The accident was reported at 9:15 a.m. Friday in the 200 block of Center Street.

Roberta Wolfe tells WSAZ.com she was on her way to Pratt Elementary to do an evaluation when her vehicle was struck by the train.

"I didn't know what hit me," Wolfe said. "I didn't know if maybe, I swear to God, I had no idea. I didn't know if ... a dag-gone earthquake hit me," Wolfe explained.

Wolfe says she was crossing the tracks when she felt her car being hit. She says the lights were not on as she crossed the tracks, but she later realized the bars were coming down as she crossed the tracks.

Wolfe says she didn't hear any bells or whistles.

"No horn whatsoever," she said. "It doesn't mean they didn't blow it before, but I never heard it when I was there."

No one was hurt.

"I thank God my babies weren't with me," she said. "I am afraid if somebody would have been in the back, somebody would have really been hurt. But I know that God was watching out for me because he knows I've got things to do."

Pratt Police Chief Eric Eagle says that he is working with CSX to determine whether or not the crossing signals were working properly.

Bob Sullivan, a spokesperson with CSX, said there is no indication the warning signals malfunctioned.
