KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The lockdown has been lifted at Cedar Grove Community School in Kanawha County.
According to school officials, deputies didn't find anything related to a report that a man was seen near the school with a gun.
According to a spokesperson with Kanwaha County Schools, the school was put on lockdown as a precautionary measure Tuesday afternoon and was lifted when deputies gave the all clear.
No students or faculty were believed to be in danger.

Missy Ruddle tells WSAZ.com school administrators received reports that a man was seen on railroad tracks with a gun near the school.
That's when the principal decided as a precaution to put the school on lockdown.
No students or faculty are believed to be in danger.
Kanawha County 911 Dispatchers tell WSAZ.com the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office is on the scene investigating the reports.
The school's regular dismissal is just after 3 p.m. The district says it's still unclear if dismissal will be delayed.
Again, the lockdown is just a precautionary measure while deputies investigate the reports.
