CARTER COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Hitchins Road has reopened late Monday night at the intersection of U.S. 60, Carter County 911 dispatcher say.
A one-car crash that sent two people to area hospitals closed the roadway down for more than two hours Monday night.
The crash was reported just after 7 p.m. Monday.
There is no word on the victims' conditions.

The extent of the victims' injuries also was unknown. One person was taken to King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, and the other was taken to Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington.
Only through traffic is affected by the road closure, dispatchers say. Local residents should be able to take alternate routes to their homes.
It was unknown how long the road would be closed.
