UPDATE: Fight Between Father and Son Leads to Shooting; Names Released

CHESAPEAKE, Ohio (WSAZ) -- The Lawrence County Ohio Sheriff has released more information on a shooting Friday night, including the names of the victims.

The shooting happened in 8000-block of County Road 15 about 11 p.m.

Sheriff Jeff Lawless says Joseph Radulic, 55, was shot twice, once in the upper thigh and once in the upper torso by his son, 20-year-old Christopher, who later took his own life.

Joseph was taken to Cabell Huntington Hospital where he was treated and released.

Lawless says the shootings happened as an argument between the pair escalated.

The Sheriff says Christopher began to break windows out of the residence. At some point, he went to vehicle parked in the driveway, broke out the driver side window and retrieved .32 caliber handgun.

Christopher then returned to the house and began firing shots through the broken window in the door. Two of the shots hit his father. Lawless says Christopher then turned the gun on himself.

Lawless tells WSAZ.com that the Christopher died Saturday morning.

CHESAPEAKE, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A man has died after turning a gun on himself after shooting his father.

Lawrence County Ohio Sheriff Jeff Lawless tells WSAZ.com the son obtained a firearm Friday night and shot his father twice, once in the upper thigh and once in the upper torso.

He then shot himself in the head.

Both men were taken to the hospital. Lawless says the son died Saturday morning.

The shooting happened on Lawrence County Road 15 about 11 p.m.

The father remains at Cabell Huntington Hospital in stable condition.

Names are not being released yet.

CHESAPEAKE, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A fight between a father and son turned tragic Friday night, and ended with both men in the hospital with gun shot wounds.

It happened on Lawrence County Road 15 about 11 p.m. Friday.

Sheriff Jeff Lawless says deputies arrived to find both men covered in blood and windows broken out of the house.

Lawless says the father suffered two gunshot wounds; one in the upper thigh and the other in his upper torso.

The son received a gunshot wound to his head.

Both men have been taken to Cabell Huntington Hospital where one of them is listed in serious condition and the other is in stable condition.

Their names are not being released at this time.
