HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- West Virginia State Police have released the name of a man who was stabbed early Monday morning in Huntington.
Sgt. G.L. Losh tells WSAZ.com that Jeffrey Jackson, 32, of Huntington, was stabbed in the stomach outside the Brass Room Bar about 2:30 Monday morning.
Jackson was taken to a local hospital. No word on his condition.
They say the suspect is a white male with light blonde/brown hair, possibly in his mid 30s. They say he is 5'10" and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and khakis.
State Police are checking surveillance video from the area.

West Virginia State Police told WSAZ.com the stabbing happened at the front door of the Brass Room Bar.
They said this was about 2:30 a.m. Monday in the 2400 block of 3rd Avenue in Huntington.
A trooper at the scene said a man was stabbed in the abdomen and was taken to the hospital. The man's name and condition haven't been released.
The Cabell County Sheriff's department assisted with its K-9 unit in searching for a male suspect, described by State Police as wearing a blue shirt and khaki shorts. He also had closely-shaven blonde hair.
