Bell Ringer Robbed at Gunpoint


HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A Salvation Army bell ringer was robbed at gunpoint Saturday afternoon at a Huntington Kroger.

Police say it happened at about 2:30 p.m. outside Kroger on 1st Street. They say a man walked up to the bell ringer, pulled out a gun and demanded she give him the money in the kettle.

The volunteer ran inside the store and the suspect took off with the kettle. WSAZ is working to get more information, Keep clicking for the latest updates.
