UPDATE 9/21/12 @ 9:30 p.m.
PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Two men have been arrested Friday in connection with death of a woman whose body was found in the trunk of her car at a car wash in Parkersburg, according to information from Parkersburg Police.
Arthur Allen Thornton, 42, and Victor Lee Thompson, 34, both of Parkersburg, are charged with felony concealing of a deceased human body and felony conspiracy to conceal a deceased human body.
The body of Brandy Marie Adams, 25, was found in the trunk of her own car just before 8 p.m. Thursday night at the Seventh Street Car Wash.
Thornton and Thompson conspired to move Adams’ body from her place of death at a mobile home park by placing in the trunk and driving the car to the car wash, according to criminal complaints filed in Wood County Magistrate Court.
Illegal drugs contributed to Adams’ death, according to the criminal complaint.
Thornton was arrested by the Wood County Sheriff’s Department on outstanding warrants unrelated to Adams’ death.
Thompson was brought in to the Parkersburg Police Department for questioning Friday after being located by the Wood County Sheriff’s Department and the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force.
Adams' body is currently at the State Medical Examiner’s Office with no cause of death determined as of yet. The investigation continues, and more arrests are possible, Parkersburg Police say.
Parkersburg Police made the discovery about 8 p.m. Thursday. They say the unattended car was parked in a wash bay at the Seventh Street Car Wash.
When a police officer popped the vehicle's trunk, he discovered the body.
The woman has been identified as Brandy Marie Adams, 25, of Parkersburg.
No word how she died. Her body has been sent to Charleston for an autopsy.
Several police agencies are investigating the death.
