Boil Water Advisory Affects 525 Households in Lawrence County, Ky.

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Nearly 525 households are affected by a boil water advisory issued Tuesday due to a water main break, according to a spokesman with the Big Sandy Water District.

Anyone living along Ky. 1760 from Mattie Road to U.S. 23 should boil their water. The advisory also includes residents who live along U.S. 23 from Ky. 2565 to the Johnson County line, including Ky. 581 and Ky. 1690 and all side roads.

Any water used for drinking, cooking or watering pets should be boiled before use until further notice.
