CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- West Virginia American Water has lifted a boil water advisory for hundreds of residents in Cabell County.

The advisory was issued Monday for 400 customers in the Huntington/Salt Rock area, due to a water main break which drained a tank.

WVAW says results of water testing have confirmed that water quality meets drinking water standards. Therefore, there is no further need to boil water prior to consumption.
