MASON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A boil water advisory was issued Monday night for some customers served by the Mason County Public Service District, according to a news release from that agency.

It affects all customers who live along W.Va. 87 from W.Va. 2 to Jackson County, including Leon-Baden to Dunham Road and all other side roads. A water main break is the reason the advisory was issued.

All water used for cooking, drinking, oral hygiene and watering pets should be brought to a boil for at least a minute and allowed to cool sufficiently before use.
