Boil Water Advisory for Some Kenova Water Customers

KENOVA, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A boil water advisory has been issued to some Kenova Water System customers.

The advisory is for customers living along Walkers Branch Road and for customers who are experiencing loss of water pressure and discolored water along Spring Valley Road.

Any other Kenova Water System customer who has a loss of water pressure or discolored water is also being advised to boil water before use.

The advisory was issued after a six inch water main break occurred on Walnut Street in Kenova.

Lines are being replaced and the water is being tested for contamination.

Notification will be given by the city of Kenova when there is no longer a need to boil water for consumption or use.
