Burglars Pull Off Elaborate Pharmacy Heist

PRESTONSBURG, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Two burglars went to extremes to pull off a heist at the Rite Aid in the Glyn View Plaza, police say.

Investigators say two men broke into the pharmacy early Sunday morning.

The suspects actually broke in through the roof and cut the power supply to the building to turn off the alarm system. That caused thousands of dollars worth of damage.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call Prestonsburg Police.
