GRAYSON, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A Grayson restaurant suffered heavy smoke damage during a fire Sunday night
The fire happened at Lucy’s Restaurant on East Main Street about 9:30 p.m.
Firefighters tell WSAZ.com the restaurant was closed for the day when the fire started. They say the building suffered some fire damage, but they believe the inside is a total loss due to the smoke and water.
Firefighters also say the restaurant had been undergoing some renovation recently. They believe the fire started in the center of the building. No word on a cause.
Dispatchers tell WSAZ.com the fire started at Randy's Roadside Market on East Main Street at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
Dispatchers say avoid that area around Robert and Mary Avenues.
