CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Firefighters are on the scene of a fire that has destroyed a business in Chapmanville.
The fire started just before noon on Thursday.
Firefighters tell WSAZ.com, the employees at Abbott Mine Sales went to lunch and when they came back flames were shooting from the building.
The business is located on Captain's Court in Chapmanville.
Firefighters tried to go in the building and put out the fire, but they had to back out and keep the fire from spreading to nearby buildings.
Investigators say the fire does not appear to be suspicious, but the West Virginia State Fire Marshal's Office is trying to find out what started the fire.
Route 10 was closed in the area for a short time, but it has since reopened.
