UPDATE: Route 817 Reopens in Putnam County after Rollover Crash

PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A woman was rushed to the hospital after a crash in Putnam County.

It happened about 9 a.m. on Route 817 near the John Amos Power Plant.

Deputies tell WSAZ.com, the woman was heading north when she crossed the center line, lost control and flipped over.

The woman had to be cut out of the car and was rushed to the hospital.

Her name and condition have not been released.

The road was closed for about an hour, but is back open at this time.

PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Emergency crews are on the scene of a rollover crash along Route 817 in Putnam County.

It happened just before 9 a.m. near the John Amos Power Plant.

Dispatchers tell WSAZ.com, a woman has been hurt, but the severity of her injuries are unknown at this time.

The road is closed in the area.
