SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Crews had to pull a driver from his vehicle Sunday night after he slammed into a pole.
Officials tell WSAZ.com the man hit two other cars while driving on MacCorkle Avenue before crashing into a pole near the Rite-Aid store.
They say the dashboard collapsed around him, trapping him in the car.
Officials say he was responsive at the scene. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
It's not clear right now what caused the accident
