IRONTON, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A rock slide caused damage to a passing car on U.S. 52 Wednesday afternoon. Kendra Caldwell, from Scioto County, was traveling west near the Ironton Route 93 exit when she saw part of the hillside slipping. Mud and debris entered the road and damaged her car but Caldwell wasn't injured.
One lane of traffic was briefly blocked while crews used an end loader to push the rocks from the road. Both westbound lanes have reopened.
