FAYETTE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A young child was placed in protective custody after a recent meth bust in the Sewell Mountain area, Fayette County Sheriff's deputies say

The meth bust happened Tuesday night along U.S. 60.

Deputies say Dennis Brooks and Shannon Phillips had a fully operational meth lab in their home, along with the young child.

It took crews nearly five hours to dismantle the lab because of all the chemicals.

Brooks and Phillips were arrested and taken to jail.
