NICHOLAS COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- West Virginia State Police are investigating a copper theft out of Nicholas County.

Troopers say someone stole copper wire from the Little League field in Craigsville.

Copper was stolen from seven light posts at the field, trooper say about 10 feet from each post.

That's about 60 pounds of metal, worth about $200.

Parents say the lights no longer work, so the teams can't play night games until they get it repaired.
