FAYETTE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A correctional officer was arrested during a drug bust in Fayette County.
Deputies say James Butcher and Misty Goodwin were at a house in the Whispering Oaks subdivision in Fayetteville on Wednesday.
Butcher is employed as a correctional officer at the Federal Correction Institution in Beckley.
A search warrant was executed and deputies say they found a large amount of Roxycodone pills with a street value of between $3,000 and $4,000.
Deputies say Goodwin was getting the pills in Clay County and that Butcher and Goodwin would sell them in Fayetteville.
The are charged with possession of a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit a felony.
