IRONTON, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Investigators say they have busted a daytime burglary ring in Lawrence County, Ohio
Sheriff Jeff Lawless says John Clark, 30 of Greenup, Kentucky, and Tawanna Talbert, 38, of Wurtland, Kentucky, are being charged in the thefts. Both people were arrested in Boyd County, Kentucky, July 4.
Lawless says the rash of burglaries was countywide and took place this month and last month. A number of the stolen items were found at pawnshops in Portsmouth, Ashland and Huntington. Some of the items taken were televisions, jewelry and guns.
The Sheriff says in one of the daytime burglaries a child was inside the residence and saw the suspects.
Talbert was extradited back to Lawrence County on Friday. She was arraigned Monday on five counts of complicity to burglary.
Clark remains in the Boyd County Detention Center. Lawless says he faces the same charges as Talbert.
Clark also faces a variety of charges in Boyd County, and a burglary charge Greenup County.
