BRAXTON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- West Virginia State Police in Braxton County arrested dozens of people on drug charges.
Troopers were out all day Thursday serving more than 50 warrants.
State Police tell WSAZ.com as of 3:30 p.m., 30-35 people have been arrested on a variety of charges, including delivery and possession of prescription drugs or narcotics.
A few people face charges relating to marijuana.
The arrests are a result of a year long investigation by the West Virginia State Police in Braxton County.
Police say with the number of accidental overdoses, the drug problem is a major concern.
Troopers are expecting to make additional arrests in the investigation.
