HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- AEP crews were called to 8th Avenue near 26th Street in Huntington Saturday evening after a car slammed into a power pole, knocking it down.
Cabell County Dispatchers say the driver of the car had blacked out, and drove right into the pole. Huntington Police confirmed to WSAZ.com that the driver had been drinking. However, they say he was nowhere near the legal limit.
Police say the driver suffered from several medical conditions and was on oxygen. The man's identity was not released, and his condition is unknown at this time.
