DUNBAR, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Voters in Dunbar will head to the polls this weekend for the city's primary election.

Three people want to be the city's next mayor. Democrats Terry Greenlee and Ramona Cerra Ward are on the ballot to replace current Mayor Jack Yeager. Mike Hall is running on the republican side.

Earlier this year, Yeager announced he would not seek re-election. Yeager was appointed to the mayors seat in 2008 and won a full term in 2009.

Yeager says he came into the office with a set of goals and he's accomplished them. He says it is time to give someone else a turn at leading the city into the future.

City Council seats and city clerk are also on the ballot. Dunbar is divided into four wards with two council representatives for each.

The polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

The city's general election is set for June 4.
