PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- An elderly man who was missing after his wife's funeral was found Tuesday in Georgia, according to a Kentucky State Police news release.
Luther Jefferson Collins, 72, of Bunnell, Florida, was in good condition.
Collins, who is formerly from Pike County, had driven from Florida to Pike County to attend the funeral.
Kentucky State Police say Luther Collins drove from Florida to Pike County to attend the funeral.
He was born and raised in Pike County, but he and his wife had moved to Florida.
Troopers say Collins was last seen Friday and was supposed to be headed back to Bunnell, Florida.
He was last seen driving a green Dodge van with a Florida license plate, and was towing a 15-foot trailer.
Troopers say Collins has early stages of dementia.
Collins is 72-year-old. He's approximately 5'10" tall and weighs 110 - 115 pounds.
He has gray-brown shoulder length hair with long sideburns and goatee.
Collins was last seen wearing dark colored wind breaker pants with a black Harley Davidson t-shirt and black Nike shoes.
