Elderly Woman Hit by Truck, Sent to Hospital

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A woman who just had her hair done has been taken to hospital after being hit by a pick truck.

The accident happened on the parking lot of a shopping plaza in the 600-block of 1st Street in Huntington about 2:30 Friday afternoon.

Emergency responders say the victim was an older woman who was hit by a truck.

Huntington Police believe that the woman was hit accidentally. No word if any charges will be filed.

The extent of the woman's injuries is unknown at this time.
