25 Meth Labs Found in House, 3 Charged
FLATWOODS, Ky. (WSAZ) -- One of the largest meth labs seen in Kentucky has been found in a house in Flatwoods, Ky. according to the FADE Drug Task.
FADE says the discovery was made at a house in the 2400-block of Marsha Drive. Three people were arrested and charged in connection with the discovery that happened Monday.
The task force says 11 one-stop method labs were discovered in various rooms throughout the house. Investigators also found 14 "gassing generators" in the home. A gassing generator is any container used to combine chemicals to produce hydrogen chloride gas in order to create meth.
Shan Parker, 27, of Flatwoods, Ronnie Rowe, 32, of Flatwoods and Kristina Bates, 20, of Argillite, were all charged with manufacturing meth.
All three remain in the Greenup County Jail.
The FADE TASK Force was called to the scene by the Flatwoods Police Department. Both agencies are involved in what is described as an ongoing investigation.
