UPDATE: Accident Sends One to Hospital; Sissonville Drive Back Open

SISSONVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Sissonville Drive is back open following an accident early Saturday morning.

911 dispatchers tell WSAZ.com one vehicle crashed on Route 21 near Sissonville Elementary about 4:30 a.m.

Dispatchers say one person has been taken to the hospital.

SISSONVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Sissonville Drive is closed in both directions due to an accident.

911 dispatchers say it happened on Route 21 near Sissonville Elementary about 4:30 a.m.

Emergency crews are on the scene and dispatchers say there are reports of one person with a head injury.

No word yet on what caused the accident.
