Firefighters Battle Early Morning House Fires

MILTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Two house fires just hours apart kept firefighters in Milton busy early Saturday morning.

The first happened a little after midnight at a trailer on Cooper Ridge Road in Milton. Flames were shooting out of the mobile home when firefighters arrived. It was destroyed.

The second fire started about 4 a.m. on Dudley Gap Road in Milton. Flames were also coming out of that house when crews got to the scene. We are told it, too, is a total loss.

No injuries were reported in either fire.

MILTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Firefighters in Cabell County have been busy Saturday morning battling two house fires.

The first happened a little after midnight on Cooper Ridge Road in Milton.

911 dispatchers say when firefighters arrived; flames were shooting from a trailer.

Firefighters are still on the scene of another fire that happened about 4 a.m. on Dudley Gap Road: also in Milton.

Dispatchers say flames were also shooting from that home.

There’s no word yet whether anybody was inside either of the houses at the time of the fires. However, no injuries have been reported.
