Firefighters Battle a House Fire in Jackson County, W.Va.

JACKSON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A large home was destroyed by fire Wednesday morning in Jackson County, West Virginia.

The fire started about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday at a home in the 900-block of Evans Road in Evans.

A family lived in the home, but there is no word if anyone was inside when the fire started.

No one was injured.

Investigators tell there is still no word on what started the fire.

JACKSON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Firefighters are on the scene of a house fire in the Evans area of Jackson County, W.Va.

Dispatchers say it started about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday at a home in the 900 block of Evans Road. They describe it as a large house and believe that someone was living there, though it's not known if anyone was home when the fire started..

There are no reports of any injuries and there is no word yet on what caused the fire to start.
