Five Arrested in Meth Bust in Nicholas County

NICHOLAS COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Five people are facing charges after a drug bust in Nicholas County.

Nicholas County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a shots fired call about 1 a.m. Thursday at a home in Werth.

Deputies say when they got on scene, they smelled a small chemical odor consistent with meth.

Inside the home they found items used to make meth.

Tony Lee Holmes, 33, of Widen, Darrell Lynn Holmes, 39, of Widen, Joseph Albert Rose, 28, of Birch River, Casey Renee Adkins, 30, of Summersville, and Julia Marie Holmes, 60, of Widen were all arrested.

More arrests are pending.
