PRESTONSBURG, Ky (WSAZ) -- Flooding in Prestonsburg, Kentucky is putting a major damper on a popular Christmas display.
Water at Archer Park started rising rapidly about 8:00 p.m.
Organizers were out bright and early Saturday morning recovering as many light displays as possible.
The park director says now they just sit tight and play the waiting game.
"We've been over here throughout the day watching it and removed a few items. Most are staked down," park director Richie Schoolcraft said.
Schoolcraft says the park will reopen as soon as the water goes down, and the Christmas displays are cleaned up.
