LOGAN, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man accused of setting his former place of employment on fire is now in jail.

Logan Police Chief E.K. Harper tells that Eric Workman, 32, was arrested shortly after Bernie's Deli on Cole Street caught fire.

It happened about 11:30 p.m., Friday.

Police say there have been several complaints from people at the Deli about Workman, who used to work there.

Firefighters saw the smoke before the incident was even called in, and were able to get the fire under control.

Workman is now in the Southwestern Regional Jail, charged with 2nd degree arson.
