CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Food, fellowship and global warming. All motivation to get together at Habitat for Humanity Restore in Charleston, Wednesday.
A group called WV350 Reversing Climate Change held this event to try to feed the hungry and raise awareness about climate change.
"I think we can change it," said Robin Wilson, WV350 Reversing Climate Change. "I'm an optimist. I think if people get together and realize it, like the United States got together in World War 2 and they mobilized to the point where they said we're not even going to make any automobiles because this is such an important crisis. My feeling is we should do the same kind of thing for climate change."
Members of the group also had several stations where guests could learn more about climate change.
