LEWIS COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Three people were arrested and 23 bundles of heroin seized following an undercover drug sting in Lewis County, Kentucky, on Thursday.
Sheriff Johnny Givens says Joe Asche, 54, of Plumville, Jodi Fowler, 33, of Plumville and Paula Burris, 38, of Tollesboro were arrested after deputies observed a drug transaction on the parking lot of a business in Tollesoro.
The Sheriff says the undercover deputies also seized a large amount of cash and two vehicles.
Givens says during a search of Ache’s residence an additional 12 bundles of heroin were seized, along with digital scales.
The Sheriff says each person is charged with trafficking in heroin and are being held in the Lewis County Detention Center.
The Mason County KentuckySheriff's Office and Maysville Police assisted in the search of the residence.
