FAYETTE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Teams strive for an undefeated season every year, but only a few succeed.

For the Valley High School Greyhounds it has never happened in the history of the school, but the they are one step closer.

On a winning streak, the team is now 10 and 0 after defeating Gilmer County at Friday's game.

"It's totally unbelievable. I can't even explain it," teammate Steven Mitchell said. "It feels so good right now. I just want to enjoy it with my teammates. We still gotta take care of business. We've got playoffs coming up."

Parents and coaches say they couldn't be more proud of the team.
