Highway Worker Runs Over Meth Lab while Mowing

MEIGS COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A highway worker, who was mowing along the side of the road in Meigs County, ran over a meth lab.

911 Dispatchers tell WSAZ.com It happened about 11:15 Tuesday morning on Noble Summit Road, right outside of Middleport.

Sheriff Keith Wood tells WSAZ.com the worker hit a one-pot meth lab that someone had dsicarded along the road.

No one was injured.

Dispatchers tell WSAZ.com that Middleport Police helped decontaminate the scene.

If anyone has any information about the lab, call the Sheriff's Office.
