HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Police have released surveillance pictures of the man that allegedly robbed a Huntington convenience store Tuesday morning.

Huntington Police were called to the Go Mart on Washington Avenue about 8:50 Tuesday morning.

Captain John Williams says the suspect walked into the store, said he had a gun and then demanded money from a register. After grabbing the money from the register, the man ran down the alley behind the store heading west.

Williams says the man, who was in his mid 20’s had a red bandanna covering his face during the robbery. A K-9 unit later found the bandanna and a sweatshirt he was wearing.

If you have any information as to the identity of this man, you are urged to call the Huntington Police Department.
