BOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A man from Huntington has been arrested in Boyd County on drug and gun charges.
Members of the Boyd County Drugs Task Force arrested 52-year-old David Chapman Jr. at a motel on Summit Road Thursday night, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say they received information that Chapman was selling heroin out of a room at the motel.
Chapman was arrested at the motel after he allegedly returned from purchasing heroin in Huntington.
Deputies say Chapman had a loaded 9mm handgun in his car. They also say they had approximately two grams of heroin packaged for sale.
Chapman was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance and carrying a concealed dearly weapon.
