LUDINGTON, Mich. (AP) - A northern Michigan ice cream maker is recalling a flavor that's sold at many Aldi stores and may contain nuts.

House of Flavors in Ludington is recalling Belmont Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream because it may contain a nut that's not declared on the label. People allergic to nuts may be at risk.

House of Flavors released a statement Wednesday, saying the ice cream was shipped only to Aldi stores in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.

The recall follows two complaints from people who had allergic reactions.

Customers can return the ice cream to an Aldi store. Anyone seeking more information can call (800) 930-7740.
