KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A large quantity of marijuana seized Wednesday afternoon is worth nearly $22,000, Kanawha County Sheriff's deputies say.
Deputies with the drug enforcement team STOP arrested Arthur Elkins at his home in Hernshaw. They say Elkins had nearly 5 pounds of marijuana stashed throughout his house; he also had $10,000 in cash on him.
Deputies say Elkins hid the drugs all over his property.
Elkins was arraigned Wednesday night on possession with intent to deliver marijuana charges.
He's in jail on a $10,000 bond.
Deputies arrested Arthur Elkins Wednesday afternoon inside his house near Marmet.
They say Elkins had nearly five pounds of marijuana and almost $10,000 in cash on him at the time.
He has been charged with possession with intent to deliver.
He will be arraigned at Kanawha County Magistrate Court Wednesday night.
