KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A four-car crash wreck involving a Kanawha County Sheriff's deputy's cruiser sent several people to the hospital Friday afternoon, but the deputy escaped injury, according to the sheriff's department.
The crash happened about 4 p.m. Friday near the old Value City store on MacCorkle Avenue in Jefferson and closed the eastbound lanes for about two hours.
Deputies had not released information Friday night about what caused the crash.
