UPDATE 11/28/12 @ 3:30 p.m.
ASHLAND, Ky. (WSAZ) -- We've all heard the ads talking about how you can work from home and make good money, most people think its too good to be true but for one company it's true.
Kentucky Teleworks in Ashland is interviewing candidates for good paying jobs with companies like Apple, Comcast, Amazon and others according to Joshua Ball, Manager of Kentucky Teleworks.
Ball says these jobs allow workers from rural areas to connect with big businesses without having to relocate.
"With Teleworks it doesn't matter where you're at it only matters what you can do. We feel like it eliminates barriers and really puts rural parts of eastern Kentucky at a level playing field," said Ball.
Although only five candidates actually showed up today for interviews, many applications were submitted online.
Kentucky Teleworks with be at the Ashland Career Center Wednesday and Thursday for those interested in applying.
"It's been terrific," Osborne said. "I've been doing this since March. I now have dollars in my piggy bank instead of change."
Kentucky Teleworks is helping pair willing workers in eastern Kentucky with companies headquartered in other parts of the county and other parts of the world.
"It doesn't matter where you're at," says Kentucky Teleworks Manager Joshua Ball. "It's what you can do."
Kentucky Teleworks, a program through the Eastern Kentucky Concentrated Employment Program, is currently working with seven companies which have the potential to hire thousands of jobs in the next year.
"There are people who came to the fair yesterday who are already being scheduled for interviews," Ball says. "We have people just here in Lawrence County who are working for Apple, working for AT&T. The work ethic in the region is a real plus."

For Osborne, the program has been a true blessing. She had been out of the work force for years.
"As soon as I learned I could do it from home, I jumped on it," Osborne says. "I tell everyone there is a way without transportation, living in low income housing, that you can work and provide for your family."
