LINCOLN COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A Lincoln County employee is off the job.
A Lincoln County Commissioner tells WSAZ.com the commission voted to fire administrator Judy Johnson at Thursday night's meeting. However, commissioners would not comment on why Johnson was terminated.
No word on a possible replacement for Johnson.
Vance won't comment on who the employee is, but says he expects to order administrative leave for an employee Friday.
At the Thursday night County Commission meeting a motion was approved giving the commission president the authority to suspend or put on administrative leave any employee who is under investigation.
Last month WSAZ.com told you about a motion to fire Judy Johnson, the county administrator in charge of enforcing those policies.
Judy Johnson was not fired.
Johnson's attorney told WSAZ.com Friday that his client has not been contacted by State Police concerning any on-going investigation.

Commissioners asked for the audit after finding evidence of personnel policy violations involving the use of compensatory time, sick time and overtime.
Commissioner K.K. Matthews says he found reason to believe employees were exploiting the policy while he was conducting a customary budgetary review process.
"When you see something that is wrong, you have to make note of it," Matthews said.
At Thursday night’s commission meeting, he made a motion to fire county administrator Judy Johnson, whose position involves enforcing personnel policy.
“It’s not easy whenever you’re asking to terminate someone, he said. “But it’s my responsibility because I’m one of the employers in Lincoln County. And I felt like it was warranted.”
The motion did not pass.
Folks in Lincoln County tell WSAZ.com they want to put confidence in their elected officials but need to see big change before that’s possible.
“It bothers me because these are the people we look up to in the county and these are the people that run Lincoln County,” said Cole Snyder of Alum Creek. “It makes people lose trust.”
Matthews says the taxpayers deserve better.
“There are a lot of good, solid people in this county and they need to be represented,” he said.
State Police in Hamlin say it’s not clear whether the case will turn into a full-blown investigation. But they say if it does, it will be handled by troopers outside the county.
Commissioner K.K. Matthews requested an audit of all commission employees in conjunction with the county prosecuting attorney.
Matthews says he found red flags while examining payroll documents as part of a budgetary review process.
"Specifically, it appears that there has been extensive exploitation of the use of sick time, comp time and overtime," he said in a statement.
"I urge all elected officials to be vigilant and abide by the West Virginia State Code and the Lincoln County Personnel Policy."
Tiffany Hill works in Lincoln County and says the audit only stirs more suspicion among taxpayers, tearing open fresh wounds from a massive voter fraud scandal in 2010.
"It's not right," she said. "I was hoping it was going to get better, but every time you turn around there's always something else."
The county's current personnel policy has been in place for 23 years and was finalized by a federal court order.
