ASHLAND, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A man and woman were arrested Friday on drug charges in Ashland, according to a Boyd County Sheriff's Department news release.
Kenneth E. Williams, also known as "Solo," 46, of Finley, Ohio, and Champagne C. Romine, 18, of Ashland, both were charged with first-degree trafficking of heroin.
Undercover deputies say they purchased heroin from the two suspects at a home in the 3100 block of Carter Avenue in Ashland.
Deputies later executed a search warrant and recovered heroin, cash and drug paraphernalia from the home.
They say Williams was arrested at a gas station along Winchester Avenue in Ashland.
