UPDATE 4/30/13 @ 1 p.m.
KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The man accused of making a disturbing threat against a high school in Kanawha County was back in court Tuesday.

Shawn Foglesong, 40, of Charleston, was arrested in September, charged with threats of terrorist acts, conveying false information concerning terroristic acts and committing terroristic hoaxes.

Police say Foglesong told a counselor he was having homicidal thoughts and was afraid he would wear a mask to a Sissonville High School football game and start shooting.

Foglesong also told the counselor he was hoping to be killed by police.

Foglesong pleaded not guilty Tuesday morning. His trial is set for June.

ORIGINAL STORY
KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A Charleston man was arrested after allegedly threatening to go to a Sissonville High School football game and open fire, according to a criminal complaint from Kanawha County Magistrate Court.

Shawn P. Foglesong, 40, of Charleston, was charged with threats of terrorist acts, conveying false information concerning terroristic acts and committing terroristic hoaxes.

On Sept. 14, Foglesong met with a counselor at Highland Hospital and told him he was having homicidal thoughts. He said he was thinking of "killing someone up close and personal," according to the criminal complaint.

Foglesong said he was scared he might wear a mask and go to a Sissonville High School football game and open fire -- in hopes of being killed by a police officer, the complaint states.

Foglesong said the people he intended to kill were "bad people" and one was a "sexual predator." He also stated that he would do this around Halloween, so no one would think anything of him wearing a mask at that time, according to the complaint.

Foglesong was expected to be arraigned sometime Friday night.
