HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man was arrested Friday night after he fled from police in an SUV and eventually on foot, Huntington Police said.
Officers said the man unsuccessfully tried to jump the railroad tracks between 7th and 8th avenues in a Dodge Durango.
He fled the SUV and was reported hiding out beneath someone’s back porch about a block away.
The man eventually was arrested about 9 p.m. Friday behind a home in the 400 block of 9th Avenue. Officers said tracks in the snow helped lead them to the suspect.
The man’s name and possible charges he faces were unavailable late Friday night.
