Man Commits Suicide on School Parking Lot

PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Police say a man has committed suicide on the parking lot of the Big Sandy Technical School in Pikeville.

Pikeville Police say the incident happened on a back parking lot about 10:20 Wednesday morning.

They say at no time was a threat made to the school, and that the shooting was an isolated incident.

A nearby daycare did go into a voluntary lockdown due to the incident.
